Personal statement:
Danuse Tarkowska has completed her PhD at the age of 27 years from Palacky University and postdoctoral studies from Umeå Plant Science Centre. She is senior researcher at the Laboratory of Growth Regulators, Centre of the Region Hana for Biotechnological and Agricultural Research. Tarkowska’s current focus is on the development of methods for extraction and purification of plant hormones, analytical methods for plant hormones and other signalling molecules. She has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals (sum of times cited without self-citations 872, h-index: 12). She is the member of Czech Chemical Society and Phytochemical Society of Europe.
