When his supervisor popped in, she found her student looking very frustrated and holding a pestle in his hand over a mortar on the bench. There was water on the floor, water on his lab coat, water on the bench - even water dripping from the ceiling!

"What on earth is going on here?" Asked the supervisor.

"Oh professor, I am having real difficulties here!" said the student.

"You'd better explain." Said the supervisor sternly.

"Well," he replied, "you asked me to use my MIP to extract endocrine-disruptors from ground water, but how the hell do I grind water?"
