Bioorganic & Biophysical Chemistry Laboratory/Nicholls Group

Group location: Sweden (Europe)

Group description:
The Bioorganic & Biophysical Chemistry Laboratory (BBCL) is based within the Department of Chemistry & Biomedical Sciences at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden.  As the name suggests we are a multidisciplinary chemical sciences research team with focus on the study of both organic chemistry and physical chemistry and their application to problems of biological significance. Biomimetic systems are of central importance to the the group's research, and within this context fundamental studies of molecular imprinting and application-driven rational development of new molecularly imprinted polymer systems are major areas of interest. The group is an integral part of the Linnaeus University Centre for Biomaterials Chemistry.
