EBS is a biennial forum dedicated to the latest advances in biosensing science and technology. Since its first edition in Potsdam, Germany, in 2017, followed by Florence, Italy (2019), the online edition (2021), Aachen, Germany (2023), and Tarragona, Spain (2025), the symposium has brought together a vibrant community working at the interface of fundamental discovery, technological innovation, and real-world application. In 2027, EBS will come to Romania for the first time, opening a new chapter in the history of the symposium in Eastern Europe.
EBS is a biennial forum dedicated to the latest advances in biosensing science and technology. The symposium will bring together young researchers and internationally recognized experts through plenary, keynote, invited, oral, and poster presentations. As in previous editions, EBS-6 will strongly support early-career scientists and encourage interdisciplinary discussions, new collaborations, and the development of fresh research ideas.
