GlycoImaging is a European Training Network (ETN)
funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Action, with the aim of developing the next generation tools for cancer
research and diagnostics. 5 research groups, spread across 5 universities and
institutes and 2 industrial partners in 4 different countries have come
together to train a new generation of chemists/biologists through an EU-wide
PhD training network. One vacant PhD position in molecular imprinting and
glycobiology is now available at Copenhagen Center for Glycomics.
Scientific
environment
Copenhagen Center for Glycomics (http://glycomics.ku.dk) is a Center of Excellence funded partly by the Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF). The Center is comprised of 6 senior professors, 6 junior professors, 5 post docs and 11 PhD students, and focuses on complex carbohydrates and their role in health and disease. The center has a unique approach to glycomics using primarily gene editing of the glycogenome to uncover and dissect biological functions of glycosylation.
Required

The candidate must be in the first four years of his
or her research career and cannot have lived in Denmark for more than 12 months
over the last 3 years. Candidates
